About Joe Erhard

Joe has been an avid cyclist ever since the training wheels were removed from his first bicycle.

Joe grew up in Foxboro, Massachusetts and attended Foxboro Public Schools until he graduated from Foxboro High School in 2003. During his time at Foxboro High School, he worked with other residents to build the Foxboro Skate Park located at the Booth Playground.  In addition, Joe worked at a local bicycle shop for seven years, gaining valuable experience maintaining and repairing bicycles.

Upon graduating from Foxboro High School, Joe attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He majored in Entrepreneurship with concentrations in Marketing Management and Operations Management. Joe graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2007 Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship.

Joe has more than ten years experience maintaining and repairing bicycles.

About Mobile Bicycle Shops

This new distribution style for providing mobile at-home and off-site bicycle maintenance and repair services to cyclists would entail bringing the bicycle shop to the cyclist's home. This new business model provided some added benefits to cyclists including the convenience of not having to transport their bicycle to and from a brick and mortar bicycle shop, a decrease in wait time, and an overall increase in time on their bicycle.

Mobile Bicycle Shops is owned and operated by Joe Erhard.   

Joe's lifelong dream has been to start, run, and grow a successful bicycle shop. Starting Mobile Bicycle Shops is the initial step in achieving Joe's lifelong dream.
